This project has converted a 1990’s standard specification developer house into a bespoke one off house. The scheme digs into to the side of the hill using the sloping land to maximise the potential for internal space without massive new external volumes. The result is an addition of two large sunlit principle rooms over looking a terrace and flat garden lawn. There are also two well proportioned bedrooms and a much improved entrance staircase. The house is now well balanced between large living spaces and number of bedrooms, and the garden is integrated into the design of the house to great effect.
